Wedding Etiquette In this day and age many traditions have been cast to one side and it is up to the bridal couple as to what they would like on the day. In the past the bride’s family and friends would sit on the left while the groom’s parents and friends sit on the right. Should there not be enough room to accommodate the guests then it is suggested that they sit on either side.

Copyright Information for Weddings The copyright act of 1968 protects the exclusive economic rights granted to a copyright owner. Music can be played at your ceremony but needs to adhere to the copyright act. I can provide further information at the initial interview.

Marriage Paperwork One of the more complicated aspects of arranging your marriage is all the paperwork you have to deal with. As part of my service, all paperwork will be arranged by me (the Celebrant) prior to the ceremony as per Law. This makes for one less thing you have to worry about when planning for your special day!

Legal Requirements for Australian Marriages Marriage in Australia is a legally binding contract and must abide by current laws. You will need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with your marriage celebrant at least one month and one day before the marriage and comply with other requirements of the Marriage Act.

My love of people and being able to interact easily was the catalyst for me becoming a Civil Marriage Celebrant.

My background is in finance and more importantly, the hospitality industry which has been instrumental in my dealings with people throughout my working life.

I am a man with high moral values and was raised in the country on a farm. I can proudly say that with this background and as a practising Christian, I will bring a memorable and balanced approach to your special day.

As a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant (CMC Reg #A12196) I am also a member of the Association of Civil Marriage Celebrants of South Australia (Inc).
